- Be at least a secondary graduate; and
- Either possess certificates of related professional training with duration not less than 2 years,
- Or with industry working experience in the relevant area.

- Assistant Professor: must have a Master's degree or above in the relevant area and at least 4 years of full time teaching experience as Lecturer
- Lecturer: must have a Master's degree or above in the relevant area
- Instructor: must be at least a secondary graduate and either possess certificates of related professional training with duration not less than 2 years or with industry working experience in the relevant area.
