The Institute of Collaborative Innovation (ICI) of the University of Macau invites applications for the position of Laboratory Technician (equivalent to Senior Administrative Assistant/ Administrative Assistant) for the laboratories under the Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CCBS) at a taxable monthly salary ranging from MOP25,380 to MOP43,240 (index 270 – 460).

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or in relevant fields, possession of Master's degree in Computer Science related area will be an advantage;
• Experience in the administration of Linux, database and cloud computing systems;
• Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning in Python and CUDA development toolkits and framework (including TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) will be an advantage;

• Previous experience in teaching initial and advanced levels Portuguese to native speakers of Chinese will be highly valued.
• Applicants must be native speakers of Portuguese or to show a near-native command of the language.
• Proficient command of English is mandatory.
