- The successful candidate should hold a PhD in Linguistics or related areas, teaching experience at the tertiary level (particularly for the post of Associate Professor), and a record of research appropriate to the rank of Associate/Assistant Professor. Applicants should be able to demonstrate competence in teaching, promising potential for publication, and a willingness to provide service to the University and the Department of English.
